Mexico City Art Tour 2025

Mexico City

February 2nd - Februrary 9th, 2025

M Curated Tours presented an immersive eight-day art-focused journey through Mexico City, centred around the city’s major international art fairs and its most influential galleries, studios, and cultural institutions. Guests were based in the Condesa neighbourhood at Casa Cleo by Viadora, a thoughtfully restored historic residence that offered a tranquil yet cosmopolitan setting. The program combined exclusive access, private guided visits, and carefully curated cultural experiences, balancing structured programming with moments of leisure to explore one of the world’s most dynamic art capitals.

Throughout the week, participants engaged deeply with Mexico City’s contemporary art ecosystem through private museum tours, studio visits, and gallery experiences, including off-hours access to Museo de Antropología, Museo Jumex, and leading galleries such as OMR, Proyectos Monclova, Travesía Cuatro, and Mariane Ibrahim. Highlights included studio visits with prominent artists such as Bosco Sodi and Cecilia Barreto, alongside interdisciplinary spaces like Espacio Báltico and MASA, offering insight into the city’s intersections of art, design, architecture, and material experimentation.

The itinerary culminated in VIP access to Latin America’s most significant art fairs—Zona Maco, Salón ACME, and MATERIAL—where collectors enjoyed early entry, guided previews, and opportunities to connect directly with artists, curators, and gallerists. Complementing the visual arts program was a carefully curated culinary journey, featuring some of Mexico City’s most celebrated restaurants, from long-standing institutions to Michelin-recognised venues. Together, the tour offered a richly layered experience that positioned Mexico City as a global art hub where culture, history, and contemporary practice converged.
